2020 was a nightmare for all trade fair organizers. Now it seems that 2021 could be similar. The Elmia Wood show, which should have taken place in May 2021, was moved to June 2022. DLG Waldtage, which was planned for September 2021, was also moved to 2022. The Swedish Forestry Expo for a long time to hold on to their scheduled time on 3rd to 5th June 2021, but they announce that they also will be postponed. The new date will be 28th to 30th April 2022.
Swedish Forestry Expo
The Swedish Forestry Expo was to arrange their forestry fair for the first time in 2021. The organizers, the Swedish Machine Suppliers Association (ML) and AT Event Sweden AB, believes that the time for preparing the show is not enough considering the corona pandemic.
– The difficult situation caused by the pandemic really is a challenge for many companies, says Anders Gustafsson, CEO at Eco Log and chairman at ML’s forestry section and continues. We at ML are very careful about that no one should be affected by the pandemic and therefore we have decided to postpone the fair to April 2022.
The concept of Swedish Forestry Expo is that it should focus on machinery and equipment for professional forestry only. ML have organized similar events within construction machinery and have good experiences from that.
The new date for the Swedish Forestry Expo will be 28th – 30th April 2022.
