Another piece of good news reached us today. The UK based forestry show APF International Forest Machinery Exhibition, that was planned for September 2020, postponed to September 2021 and then postponed again, announces that they are back.
APF are back – gives full speed ahead for 2022
As all restrictions now have been lifted in the UK, the APF team informs that they are delighted to launch APF 2022. The event will take place on the 22-24th September 2022 at Ragley Estate, Warwickshire.
“With over half our sites already sold over a year ahead of the event we expect the remaining sites to go very quickly. Consumer demand for new machines and equipment will be very high and we urge companies not yet booked to do so as soon as possible to avoid missing out. We expect APF 2022 to be the largest event in both exhibitor and visitor numbers we have ever staged as this is the first event in four years” says Ian Millward, exhibition secretary at APF.
APF
The APF show is a biannual event that has been around since 1976. Since 2012 it has taken place at Ragley Estate close to Stratford upon Avon. To get there from abroad you can fly into Birmingham Airport and then go by car or bus to Stratford.
Over 320 exhibitors and 22 000 visitors are expected during the three days of the show. The fairground contains a field area with (more or less) static exhibition and a 2 kilometre long forestry demo trail.

Good news
This is certainly good news for us forestry nerds. Recently we also wrote about the German Interforst showthat will take place next year. They are one of the few fair organizers that didn´t have to change their dates.
Let´s hope the good new keep coming and that 2022 will be the “Year of Forestry Shows” that 2020, and later 2021 were supposed to be.
