The first machine has just left the factory in Rottne and more machines are in the production line as we speak.

“On the outside, Rottne H8E looks almost like Rottne H8D, but on the inside, there are a lot of improvements and a lot of new and advanced technology,” says Mathias Paulsson, Engineer of control systems at Rottne Industri AB.

Among other upgrades, the old RK50 crane, which has been around since the early 2000s, has been replaced by the new RK75 crane. The benefits from the old crane have been retained and more advantages have been added, Rottne claims.

“Among other things, t has a built-in position sensor in all cylinders that the control system recognizes. The boom control is moved at the driver’s command (out, in, up, and down) and the system runs the extension automatically” Mathias explains.
