The Swedish forest machine manufacturer EcoLog has made an agreement with Strongco Corporation, a Nors Group company, for a dealership in Canada. Strongco Corp. will be the exclusive dealer for EcoLog in all of Canada.
EcoLog has good coverage in North America
Through this deal, EcoLog has created a good coverage for the important North American market. Since earlier, Scandinavian Forestry Equipment Inc. (SFE) is representing EcoLog in the USA where they cover all parts of the country except some parts in the Southern States.
About EcoLog
The EcoLog Group is an all Swedish manufacturer that has its roots in the Swedish company Skogsjan. The concept with harvesters with pendulum arms was first presented in Sweden in the 80’s under the brand Skogsjan.
By the end of the 90’s, Skogsjan was purchased by Caterpillar who manufactured and sold the machines under the CAT-brand until 2004 (it might have been 2003) when the factory was purchased by a Swedish company again. Since then, the brand has been EcoLog.
