Kesla in Finland launches a new small harvester head – the Kesla 14RH. It´s meant to fit on smaller machines around five tons.

The Kesla 14RH

The new harvester head has feed rollers and weighs 400 kg. According to Kesla the 14RH head is most suitable in forest stands under 25 cm diameter. It can be operated with relatively small oil flow (120 – 150 liters/minute). If more flow is needed, Kesla offers an extra hydraulic package that could be attached to the PTO.

The Kesla 14RH has a short frame and three delimbing knives. This makes it possible to work in crooked hardwood according to Kesla.
